Kanten was introduced to me by a good friend and roommate, Stephanie Redmond. Our house immediately fell in love with it; it's the perfect breakfast, snack, or dessert. But, the best part is, it's super easy to make and makes a lot (enough for a full week or a house of hungry girls).
[ 4 tablespoons ] Agar Agar flakes
[ 4 cups ] Fruit juice (shown with white grape juice)
[ 1-2 cups ] Fresh fruit (shown using rasberries and stawberries)
First, cut your fruit into bite size pieces and place in small cups or a container of your choice. Next, mix the Agar Agar flakes and fruit juice together in a pot and bring to a boil. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Poor the fruit juice mixture over your fruit and place in refridgerator or keep in room temperature for about 30 minutes, and... enjoy!
